Clipsmith

AI video that stays on model.

Custom AI video · consistent characters

Our in-house engine for AI video — generate clips of a synthetic character that stays recognizably the same from shot to shot. The hard part of generative video is consistency; Clipsmith is built to solve it.

// the challenge

Generating one good clip is easy. Generating fifty of the same character is the hard part.

Most AI video drifts — the face changes between clips, and no amount of editing fixes a character that will not stay itself. Clipsmith treats that as an upstream problem: pin the base model by its hash, lock seeds for anything meant to match, and version every workflow so provenance never breaks. The payoff is a character you can shoot again and again and trust to look the same.

// what it does

A character, then a library of clips.

Build a consistent synthetic character once, then generate as much video as you need from it.

01 · character

Consistent characters

Generate a synthetic character and lock it in, so every clip after that reads as the same person.

02 · video

Text- and image-to-video

Turn a prompt or a still into motion — short clips generated on demand, on brand and on model.

03 · provenance

Every job tracked

Each render logs its checkpoint, seed, and template version, so a good result can always be reproduced.

// under the hood

Consistency is engineered, not hoped for.

The controls that stop a face from drifting between shots.

Pinned checkpoints

The base model is pinned by sha256, not by filename — a silently swapped file can never masquerade as a model change.

Locked seeds

Anything meant to match is seed-locked, so the same character regenerates instead of a new stranger.

Versioned templates

Every workflow edit bumps a version, so nothing after it loses its provenance.

Multi-provider

Generation routes across providers behind one pipeline — not locked to a single vendor.

// built responsibly

Synthetic subjects only.

Every character is generated. No real person's likeness is ever used to train or drive one — a rule enforced in the schema, not just a policy. It is the responsible way to build generative video, and it keeps every character genuinely original.

01

No real likenesses

Characters are synthetic by rule. Nothing is trained on a real person.

02

Reproducible

Pinned checkpoints and seeds mean a known-good result can be regenerated exactly.

03

Yours to own
